About Rogue
đș ROGUE NEEDS A HOME đș
Introducing the very handsome boy we know and love as Rogue. Rogue didn't take long to become a much loved member of his foster family, happily accepting pats and roaming about the house as if he owned the place! But this boyâs life wasnât always so nice. Coming from a colony of street cats, Rogue had never experienced life with humans and the comforts of free food and shelter. He quickly adapted in foster care and is now ready to head out on his own to hopefully find the most perfect family to spend his days with. Rogue is confident in his environment and loves watching his fosters go about their daily business. He likes to stay in the room where he can see everyone and is always waiting for someone to give him a delicious treat. Rogue's foster carer tells us that itâs so heart-warming to see this lovely boy and how far he has come from his rough and upsetting life.
While Rogue is suited to a quieter home with older children, he is currently in foster care with an 8 year old and lives happily alongside her. He is very cat social and is comfortable living with relaxed dogs as long as slow introductions are done at a pace he is comfortable with.
All adult cats are sent to potential new homes on a one to two week trial after an initial meet and greet before finalising adoption. While adult cats do take longer than this to settle into a new home, it allows a chance to see how the cat is coping with the new environment. Due to his timid nature, Rogue is not available for a meet and greet as he will likely hide away under couches and beds. We are happy to extend his trial period and provide support in transitioning timid cats to new homes.
