Don’t let the grey muzzle and age fool you, this boy has a long happy life ahead of him. He’s got wise, soulful, intelligent eyes - almost as if he’s been here before. When he looks at you, you can see him thinking and pondering. Despite being 9, he is fit, strong and still has the occasional bit of cheekiness in him.

He will lovingly give you his paw and groan at you when he wants some attention. He loves being inside and will lay at your feet or sit next to you like a loyal companion.

He appears to be a free spirit, a wanderer, as no regular suburban fence can keep him from checking out the neighbourhood. He does not have anxiety at all, he simply enjoys exploring. We believe losing his manhood will assist with this, he has only just been desexed. Any time he has managed an escape, he walks down the road sniffing around at a leisurely pace and eventually strolls back to you, pretending nothing just happened. He is both a jumper and a climber so he is looking for a home where he spends much of the day indoors and high (8ft) secure fencing with no footholds.

He is very food motivated and knows basic obedience. We believe he’d be a very good student. He is dog friendly but would be best on his own.

It is clear that this boy hasn’t had much of a life up to this point. So we are looking to give him the active, comfortable retirement that he deserves.
