Hi! My name is LuLu. I am a 2 year old, tri-colour, Kelpie x Border Collie and I am an absolute smooch!!
I love all humans and will happily sit next to while you work or snuggle next to you on the couch. I also love running and chasing my foster dog siblings! Good with horses and sheep but needs supervision around cats, chickens or other small pets. I love following my foster mum around the yard and farm. I especially love going for car rides because it means more time with my humans!
I know my name well and come when called. I can sit and stay and wait patiently for my meals. I am also toilet trained and have a fantastic off switch. I sleep quietly throughout the night and walk well on a leash. While in foster care I’ve been working through some separation anxiety, and have made great progress. However my new humans will need to be committed to continuing to work on this while I settle into my new home, and secure fencing is a must to keep me safe.
I'm now ready for my forever home! I need a family who have lots of time for me and are committed to providing enough physical and mental stimulation.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
