About Lady Sadie
Beautiful Lady Sadie is now looking for her forever home.
Lady Sadie is a 7 month old Mastiff X possibly boxer puppy
Based on her age and current weight we think she will possibly grow to a Med - large size dog.
Sweet Sadie came into us a very scared and shy girl
Over the weeks she has gained great confidence and in the right home will continue to develop
When you very first meet her she takes a few minutes to warm up but after then she is a loving and affectionate baby girl
Lady Sadie is a very intelligent pup who will sit for her dinner, retreats to her mat when asked, goes to the door when she needs to go out to the toilet & sleeps all night long in her crate.
She is a very easy going pup that currently spends her days inside sleeping the day away on her bed but does love being outside when the weather is warm & sun is shining.
Other dogs
She is currently fostered with an older male dog & gets along well with him as he is a very easy going boy
When meeting strange dogs Sadie can get a little anxious and bark but once she meets them she relaxes and is a well mannered girl
We feel that Lady Sadie is best suited to a home with another dog to help her confidence as she is a little skittish in new environments but with ongoing exposure she will definitely gain the confidence she needs
Children
Lady Sadie loves her little humans (7 & 5) that she is fostered with.
She gets so excited in the morning when they wake up wanting cuddles & pats & happily sitting at their feet while watching tv. She is not interested in running after them but loves to know what they are doing & will occasionally jump up on them if she hasn’t see them for a bit but a firm “get down” stops her.
If left alone she will need enrichment, if bored can get into mischief as she is still quite young and loves chewing whatever she can find but her favourite to chew is shoes ????? so these need to be kept out of reach.
Travel
Lady Sadie is a good traveler that travels in her crate without a sound but does on occasion get car sick.
She is happy to jump into the car & put herself in the crate but we do help her out of the car due to being young & the drop from the 4x4.
Sadie requires lead training as her current lead skills are very limited
She pulls to go see everything and barks at other dogs in excitement when she sees them
Beautiful Lady Sadie would thrive in a home with a family that is regularly home and very inclusive.
She prefers to be an inside dog with easy outside access, giving her the freedom to go about her day as she sees fit.
Her family will need to invest time in her and ensure she has daily enrichment because she is both parts intelligent and cheeky. She will need space due to her size so a decent yard is required.
Ideal home
