About Wally ~ 7mo Bull Arab X (On Trial 21/08/21)
Wally is a 7month old Bull Arab Mixed male pup looking for his forever home. Wally is a very good boy who is smart, gentle, cuddly and independent. He loves his human’s company but he can also entertain himself. He can be left outside on his own for 4 hours at a time (sometimes even longer if the weather is great and if he has a nice bone to chew on). Wally has no interest in escaping.
Wally loves running around but he also enjoys sunbaking. He loves going for a walk/run with his foster daddy and happily seats by his side at the coffee shop after their run. Wally still pulls the lead a little when getting excited but a consistent reminder and a regular walk will help him get better and better in this area.
Wally hardly ever barks and is very interested in making new dog-friends. However, being a quick learner, it is important for Wally to be around well behaved dogs to make sure he stays the good boy that he is.
Being a large dog, Wally needs a big yard and an active family to take him on regular walks. Wally needs to sleep inside especially during winter. He is currently sleeping in a crate in the lounge as he can wonder around the house looking for things to chew on when left unsupervised.
Though Wally is good with children (currently living with two little boys 2 and 7 years old) and always trying to be as gentle as possible around them, his large size makes it difficult for both him and the kids to play as he can easily knock them off without meaning too. Wally’s ideal family would be an active couple with no children or children over 12 years old.
Wally is in foster care in Windermere Park, NSW (Sydney Region NSW). For more information or to meet Wally, please contact Brenden by email brendan@thrivemadagascar.org.au and submit an online application.
