About Loki
Loki is a stunning looking pedigree German Shepherd whose owner had to make the hard decision to find him a new home as they are too ill to keep him.
Loki is best suited to acreage as he loves to run around and play ball. He has lived with another large breed dog and enjoys the company of another female dog, but this is not essential if you have the time to commit to this loveable boy.
Easy to train Loki knows his basic commands and will fetch and drop his toys. He is strong on his lead and needs to walked with a martingale. Loki like all shepherds needs to be around his humans so if he is left alone he will bark.
Loki being the size he is is not suitable to go to a home with cats, small dogs or pocket pets.
Loki is currently living with other fellow rescue German Shepherds in his foster home at Oberon. Completely house trained and Voice responsive, this stunning male would love a home with room to run and definitely a home where he will be an integral family member.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Loki will give in abundance when he connects and builds that trust with his new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned either breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Loki.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Loki".
Medical notes
Loki is microchipped, lifetime registered snd has been fully vaccinated and desexed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
