Medium Male Border Collie Dog

On Hold
Ziggy has the makings of a wonderful dog. Unfortunately for him, he has not had a lot of guidance in his short life.
He has wonderful classic Border Collie markings in a lovely chocolate colour. His coat is wonderfully thick, but short, making it easy to look after.
He is playful and gets along well with other dogs.
We're told he has been to puppy school. He can sit and will wait for his food.
However, Ziggy can get over excited in some situations - such as travelling in the car, around traffic and in busy environments - which is where he will need some help. His attention can be diverted in these situations which suggests that with consistent and kind training, he can be desensitised and refocused.
He will be available to an experienced home from 16 July.
He is in care in western Sydney.
Ziggy had a dew claw removed from his hind leg when he was desexed.
With his previous owner, Ziggy had an operation on his leg from a close encounter with a car. It has healed perfectly and notes from his vet are available.
