About Tiger
Just 8 months old, Tiger is one of those cats that seem to be more dog than cat. He is a stunning light-coloured ginger with long hair on the tips of his ears! He loves his people, following you everywhere and talking to you none stop while purring.
He loves laying down at your feet, even at the worst of times in the kitchen and loves to snuggle up in your bed at night.
Did I mention he loves to play? Play and play and play. He is a busy lad! He will chase you around the house, jump up your legs to play with your hand or anything dangling. If you sit down, he is on your lap trying to play with you.
You better be ready to entertain this man as he does not take no for answer! Shut him out of the room and he will be at the door voicing his opinion. And it is a big opinion.
But Tiger makes up for it by being the biggest sweetheart. He is getting a bit more mature each week and calming down bit by bit. And is now also seeking out affection and cuddles.
Tiger is going to make the best companion for someone who can keep up with his antics and provide him with the attention he craves.
Note from carer: he would be well suited to a cat friendly dog. He has shown no fear to my two large shepherds and even tries to play with them. I have no doubt if he is paired with a gentle playful dog that they will be best buddies.
Not suited in a home with small children.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
