About Zola
Zola is a very active 9 year old Labrador mix , she is small for a lab x and looks more like a Daschund and could lose a little excess weight
She is friendly , and sweet and loves people. She lived all her life with a male dog who was bigger than her and does need a companion of her size at least in her new home
Zola is still quite active for her age, so will benefit from another dog her size or bigger to play with or regular walks and time spent with her new family . We dont know how she is with cats but she lived with a small child and was very gentle
Zola may be fine as an only dog if someone is home most of the time . she may suit very active retirees as she loves going for a walk. Or a family with older children who will play with her and keep her occupied
She is a little hesitant to come inside as she lived outside all her life but she is getting the hang of it and we would like her to be welcome as an inside dog in her new home . Zola is in foster care in Hinton near Maitland
If you think Zola sounds like she might suit your family please send back the application form in the adoption details section
Due to Covid we can only accept applications from non lockdown areas
Medical notes
healthy but would benefit from regular natural arthritis supplement such as Sashas Blend or Rose Hip or NZ Mussel blend
Adoption details
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY PLEASE FILL OUT THE ADOPTION FORM VIA THIS LINK: https://bit.ly/35pENH8
We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
