Arnie is such a friendly guy who has somehow found himself lost and unclaimed at the local pound. 🙁 We don't understand why this has happened because this guy is a genuine gentleman who deserves a loving family to call his own and who will never leave him. Arnie is an elderly chap but don't let fool you into thinking he lacks energy or the smarts to use that energy when needed. If you ask him to go for a car ride then you better get that door open because he has springs in his legs just perfect for jumping into the car. He's also a very enthusiastic walker who needs to be reminded that he's a giant who can drag nearly anyone off their unprepared feet! But once asked to slow down and walk slower he is gentle and will impatiently wait for us poor 2 legged ones.
Arnie is living in foster care with a young exuberant dog and kindly puts up with his antics. He also ignores the resident cat who is very dog savvy and not phased by the miniature pony oops, dog coming to stay for awhile.
Arnie is a big gentle boy looking for retirement living where he can still live life to the fullest and be social and active.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $250 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check and a fitted Haqihana Harness.
