About Andromeda
Andromeda is a 5 1/2 year old, deaf Bull Arab X with PLENTY of love to give!
Andromeda (Andi for short) first came in care 10 months ago after having run out of options and time the pound so we swooped her up. She spent 3 and 1/2 weeks in the pound as she was picked up as a roaming dog whose owners kept saying they were coming to get her and then just left her there.
Andi is approx 5 1/2 years old, a medium sized bull arab mix, who unfortunately as we had discovered also tested positive for heart-worm. We quickly got her started on heart-worm treatment and we are happy to say that her treatment was successful and she has been given the all clear for heart-worm.
Andi is a playful, loving couch potato who loves nothing more than spending her days relaxing with her humans. She will happily spend her day waiting for you to come home from work but when do be prepared to be showered with love and affection. If you like your personal space then Andi isn't the girl for you.
She is wary of strangers but does warm up to them if not pressured and she is good with kids 8+ years
She knows her basic commands including sit, drop, come, good girl, directional cues and shoo. She is learning 'kiss' and she is crate trained and her leash manners are getting better. She requires a family that is committed to her on going training and who can provide her with mental and physical stimulation that she needs.
Andi likes her space when first meeting dogs but once the intro's are out of the way she is happy to have some fun, but can be a bit boisterous with them. She loves a good rumble. She loves having a doggie friend around but draws the line at sharing her food with them.
She thoroughly enjoys shredding cardboard and material and de-fluffing toys. She likes chewy toys but not chasing them. She loves laying in her diggy pit but she dislikes water.
Andi would like a forever home that has a doggie companion that she can play and keep her company, but has no cats or pocket pets. She would like a family that will show her as much love and affection as she will show them.
If you looking for mature affectionate dog to be your companion than you can't look past Andromedia.

Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
