About Maya ~ 9yo DMH ~ On Trial 24/7/21
Maya profile
Introducing Maya. This gorgeous senior lady is a 9 year old Domestic Medium Hair princess who is shy at first but the perfect lap-cat once she knows you . She has big eyes and is fluffy (although she’s currently sporting a shorter lion-type haircut after a recent pampering at the groomers).
Maya loves her people once she’s in a familiar environment. She hides for a short period but will explore with curiosity and enthusiasm once she realises that she is safe and adored. Don’t let her age fool you - Maya can be bubbly and loves to explore her surroundings. Like all cats she loves a nap and will curl on your lap to be spoiled and petted.
Maya is a content indoor cat who is oblivious to risks in the big wide world outside so she requires an indoor-only home. She will best suit a quiet family home who is happy to give a senior cat a pampered and loving retirement.
Maya’s fur sibling Valentino (10 year old Birman x) is also available for adoption so if you are open to a bonded pair then please refer to Valentino’s profile too —> https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/861182
Maya is currently in foster care in Redhead (Newcastle) and her adoption fee is $80. She is desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you’re interested in meeting Maya please fill out our application form: https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
Medical notes
Maya was recently boarded at a vet clinic and is a fit and healthy senior. She is eating Hills Science food as high-quality food is recommended to keep her in good health.
Note that senior pets require regular health checks and age related care so please only apply to adopt if this beloved girl’s future care is part of your budget.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we

(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
