About Mango & Coconut (on trial 10/07/2021)
Hi, Mango (Grey) and Coconut (White and Grey) here, we are 9 weeks old and like all brothers and sisters, we love to do everything together! We explore, climb, play and curl up to sleep together. Sometimes we like to sleep on laps and sometimes we just like to get into our warm bed and snuggle with each other.
We have never been apart and recently came from our first home where the dog didn't like us much, but that hasn't changed our interest in animals. At our foster home there is a cat and a dog, we like the cat but the dog is a bit big and scary. However sometimes we get brave enough and go over to her to give her a sniff before running back to our bed.
We also like humans of all ages and sizes so would love to be with a family or people that can give us a lot of attention. Since we have each other for company, we would be okay for our humans to work full time as long as we get lots of attention when you get home!
Our little kitten brains are still figuring out the timing of finding the litter tray before we are absolutely busting so we have the occasional accident, but we always let out our biggest meow so the humans know it's time to show us our litter tray.
We drink lots of water and sometimes we like to play with the water and make mess for our humans to clean up but a placemat under our bowls would solve this. We love both wet and dry food, and are fed every morning and evening to keep us growing.
Cats and kittens adopted from Dog Rescue Newcastle must be inside only unless you have a cat enclosure that they can have some outside time in.
Mango and Coconut are in foster care in Fern Bay, NSW. Their adoption fee is $450 for the pair which covers their desexing, first vaccination, and microchipping.
They are available for local adoption to the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region only as they need to be returned to one of our affiliate vets for desexing when they are around 3.5 months old.

They are available for local adoption to the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region only as they need to be returned to one of our affiliate vets for desexing when they are around 3.5 months old.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.

We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
