Pepper

Pepper is a tiny girl with a big heart who’s looking for somebody just as affectionate as she is.
She loves to snooze in a sunny spot, and will curl up on a lap whenever and as soon as one becomes available! She gets cold easily so always wants to be close to her people or relaxing in the sun. She enjoys endless pats, occasional play, and loves a good chicken tender or kangaroo chew. She has also been working on 'sit' and 'come' for treats.

Pepper has recently recovered from a broken leg - a time in which she was confined to the house for a long time. So she will need someone who can gently reintroduce her to the wider world by going on walks and introducing her to new environments to build up her confidence. She is really tiny so she will need to be in a fairly quiet and gentle household where she will not be stepped on, sat on or kicked by mistake. Due to having broken her leg it will likely mean arthritis in her later years. You will also need to be careful with her while she is still recovering - no jumping off things.

She’s not a big fan of the car, and can easily escape through small holes her new yard will need to be tiny puppy proof!

Pepper is looking for:

- A gentle couple or single owner.
- No large dogs or children in the home.
- Another small dog may be okay - this would need to be tested. We think Pepper probably prefers to have her people to herself though.
- Somebody willing to build her confidence in the world and take her for daily short walks.
- Somebody who gets winter sun and has a warm home.
- Somebody who's happy to have a dog on their lap and on the couch.
- Somebody who is home more often than not.
- Plenty of affection and companionship.
