About Myer
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Little Miss Myer is a marvellous girl! Content to laze the day away on the couch, she's always delighted when you get home from work - welcoming you at the door with lots of heads bumps and purrs :)
Mornings and evenings find Myer in a zoomy mood, and she'll often seek you out for some attention or play time, or pounce around practising her hunting skills! As soon as she sees you on the couch she's right there with you, getting comfy in your lap while you watch TV.
Myer does like affection, but she prefers to initiate it. Rest assured - you'll always know when she's up for a pat or a snuggle!
Like all Maggie's pets, Myer is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be reasonably quiet and low-key, as I can be easily started by loud noises and lots of movement. A few warm hidey holes and a bit of space for me to dash around would be great!
I'm an independent girl, so I'm very content with my own company - but I also enjoy it when you're nearby. I'm just not super-demanding :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Depends on the time of day you catch me! Early mornings and evenings tend to be quite active - that's when I like to hunt and get you to play with me. I'm not really interested in toys, but dangly feathers and ribbons on a stick are my favourite interactive games.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't had the chance to spend any time with kids yet. I might not be the best match with children younger than school age.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Not sure, as I've not met any other pets since coming into foster care. But I won't rule it out!
Medical notes
Our vet has noted that future owners should be made aware that Myer will require a dental clean in the future due to plaque build up, will need to be fed a dental diet, and also be given Greenies (dental treats).

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
