Rosco

Rosco is a friendly, good natured boy of around a year old. He is a playful boy who loves the
company of both people and dogs. He has slotted into his foster home very easily and is an easy dog to have around. Rosco loves spending time with the humans when they are home and enjoys every game, whether retrieving a ball or a toy or games of tug-of-war.

Rosco loves to go for walks and walks well on the lead. He’s very happy if he can go for a walk every day plus have lots of games around the backyard. He knows how to sit, and he’s learning to come when called. Although his training hasn’t gone beyond that at this stage, he is very trainable, and is always keen to please.

Rosco gets on well with his foster brothers and would love a doggy friend in his forever home. Rosco will probably not mix well with chooks, other birds or small animals but behaves well around his foster Mum’s horses and is learning to give the family cat some space. He has been very content spending his days in the backyard with his foster brothers while his foster family are at work, and has not shown any inclination to try to escape. However he would not do well without another dog for company if his family are away for long periods. He is happy to have a long snooze on the verandah once he’s had a walk, but he does still have some puppy-ish habits such as liking to pick up and carry away any loose items he can find, so he really would prefer to be kept as busy as possible!

Rosco is ready to find his forever home, and is looking for a family where he will have lots of company and activity. If you are looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend, Rosco could be the dog you are looking for!
