Spicy Pumpkin

Spicy Pumpkin was one a feisty baby feral but is now a smoochy little purr machine. He is still a bit scared of new people, will hide until he feel safe, but once he feels safe he's a very playful and loveable kitten. He loves playing with his adult foster sisters, love to run around and play with his toys and climbs the cat tree.

Spicy Pumpkin has SUCH a loud purr and loves to snuggle on his foster carers lap, especially in front of the heater!

If you already have a young cat-friendly cat who needs a friend, Spicy Pumpkin would love to join your family! They will need a slow and careful introduction as Spicy Pumpkin can be a bit defensive to begin with, but once he realises they're a friend and not a threat, he'll be their best most playful buddy!

A home with older kids who understand he needs a little patience would be ok, as he is very playful and would love kids to play with! Pumpkin has never met a dog, so dog owners would need to be sure their dog is very cat-friendly and be very careful about introducing them.

Spicy Pumpkin is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #900113002465550, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his third vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
