Profile/home requirements
Chloe is a gorgeous, fit and healthy Aussie Bulldog with a zest for life and a love of all things fun! She has lots of energy for a 6 year old dog.
Chloe was a bit all over the place when she first arrived into care, however with some structure and force free training her carer says she has settled in very quickly like she has always been there but settled in so fast.
Chloe is looking for an active home that will allow her access inside at all times and take her on daily adventures, trips to the beach, parks, bush walks and the like so she can burn off all that energy she has, which is surprisingly a lot for a bulldog. She travels well in the car so is up for car trips to new places for new adventures.
A home that will allow cuddles on the lounge is a must as Chloe loves to snuggle up to her humans.
She loves going for an off-lead romp at the beach or park and plays well with other dogs and loves a game or two with her humans.
Chloe gets on well with and plays nicely with her male foster dog mate. They love an early morning wrestle to kill some time before a walk and she is patient considering the age difference between the two. Chloe would love another dog in the home provided that they were not possessive of toys which are one of Chloe’s favourite things.
Her carers think that Chloe may be be ok as an only dog in the right home as her priority is human attention and she likes to have her own space and ALL the toys?
If she is rehomed as an only dog her new owners must be home more often than not ie work from home and must be committed to her mental enrichment, daily exercise and adventures and of course must take her places where she can romp and play with other dogs.
Chloe is an awesome girl with a big personality packed into a stocky little frame. She does require continued training but has shown us that she is more than willing to learn as she’s incredibly treat-motivated and responds well to force-free training.
Experience with bulldogs is an advantage but not essential.
Being a bulldog it’s super important that Chloe’s new family keeps her at a healthy weight with good quality food, exercise and mental stimulation.
