About Checkers
My name is Checkers, and I am patiently waiting for my new home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself to see if I'm the kitty for you.
Something to know about me is that I have recovered from cat flu and calicivirus. But don't worry! Both of these are cat only strains so you won't get sick!
If I go to a home with other felines, it would be best if they were fully vaccinated. I also previously had a corneal ulcer and conjunctivitis. It has completely healed and I am fine now but I may have a scar on my eye where the ulcer was. Depending on time, this may or may not heal, which means I might have slight vision impairment in that eye. To keep me safe it is best if you keep me indoor only just in case I have any difficulty seeing.
I am a VERY playful, goofy kitten with a bit of a cheeky streak that would loooove a home with lots of toys for me to play with, a cat tower for me to climb on and explore, and of course a loving family that would enjoy spending time playing! I could possibly go to a home with other feline friends as I really enjoy playing with other kittens! Just ensure that you take introductions slowly so we do not frighten each other!
So what do you think? Do I sound like the kitty for you? If so, come say hi, or chat with our friendly staff to find out more about me :)
Love,
Checkers xx
