About Clio
Hi I’m Clio.
I’m a female 3 year old Poodle x Mini Foxie.
When I first came into care I was really timid and I would piddle myself whenever anyone picked me up or tried to pick me. My foster mum and dad have said I have come such a long way since then, however I will still require someone with patience who show me life is now good and spoil me just a little bit. I will need someone who is willing to let me open up to them at my pace - not someone who will rush in or think that scooping me up and trying to cuddle me when nervous will help - please let me come to you in my time.
My mum has a name for me, she calls me her little 'pocket rocket' - I think that is cause I will happily play from daylight to late at night with my fur siblings. Having a fur sibling is an awesome thing and something I would definitely like to continue to have – I love playing, I love chase with the other dogs and what my mum calls kung fu fighting.
My foster mum says I’m definitely a daddy’s girl – I love to greet him when he arrives home with a big smile and a huge waggle of my bum.
My coat needs to be regularly maintained but my groomer says I’m an absolute dream to take care of. It was quite matted when I first came to Paw Prints, and I’ve just had it cut so I wear a coat during winter for now. If you’re not prepared to look after my coat, I won’t be the dog for you.
We would be requiring Clio to go to a home with children over the age of 8, as small children who run and scream and jump about will make her very anxious.
I must be able to sleep on your bed, I can jump on and off by myself.
I like going for walks and also watching the scenery go past during car rides.
I just want you to remember that i am nervous meeting new people - unsure how they will be with me - so if you have the patience and want to give me a chance please apply , my foster mum says I’m a perfect dog in a tiny, tiny package who is just waiting for her furvever home!!!
** Please note applications will close Thursday 12th August 2021 at 5.30pm
Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
