While he may be the most dominant and biggest kitten of his litter of three kittens (siblings Dolly and Lotty are soon to be listed on Pet Rescue), Alby is extremely affectionate and always wants cuddles with humans.

Alby will wrestle other cats to get a cuddle from you, pushing others out the way to get all the attention. Alby is still learning boundries and can be a little rough with his sibling Dolly, so he will require a level of supervision as he grows up.

Alby is a very playful kitten; he loves playing with your shoes and shoelaces…and would destroy tissues into a million pieces if you let him.

Alby is exceptionally fluffy, cute and funny. While he’s not especially bright or agile, due to his short little legs, Alby makes up for it in his thirst for affectionate and his overall utter cuteness.

Alby can, at times, be a bit skittish, shy and unsure of new people. As such he will need a home that is low energy/activity such as those with children aged under 10, toddlers and babies.

Alby also has zero concept of where human feet walk and will get under you quite often if you’re not paying attention. This may cause a trip hazard in older or frail people.

Having said that, Alby is a great lap cat and super affectionate. He loves a cuddle and to be patted. Due to his fluffy coat, Alby will need attention from someone who understands long haired cats and will religiously maintain his coat with regular brushing. He will also need to be an “indoors only” kitty.

Alby has been in foster care with older cats and is fine with them, however he would need to take the introduction slow as he can be a bit shy with new cats. Alby would be okay as a only cat as well, providing their human was around almost all of the time to give him all the attention he demands.

Alby is not suited to a home with dogs.
