Hey, how YOU doin’? Dragon’s my name but I don’t need to kidnap any princesses 'cos I’m so handsome and charming they all luurve me.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous chunk of love and cuddles in your life look no further 'cos you found it right here. I LOVE cuddles!
Some other things I love are;
- Going in the car.
- Sniffy walks where I can sniff all the things
- The treats foster mum puts in her pocket to take on walks…OHMYGOD I LOVE THOSE and I try really hard to be a super good boy so I get them!
- Meeting other dogs & people
- FOOD…any food! Yum! Foster Mum says I’m not quite ready to be unsupervised in the kitchen but I’m MUCH better than I was 'cos I learn real quick and I try really hard to please. I drool a bit when it’s food or treat time so you’ll need to be down with that, I can’t help it, it’s my beautiful soft droopy mouth 😊.
OK this one is really important
- Sleep...I really need my beauty sleep to be the handsomest boy I can be. Believe me this look takes effort!
- I prefer to sleep till about 8am thanks, after some breakfast around 7. If you like to get up at 5.30am and go for a walk, well I won’t say no 'cos I’m always up for an adventure, but I’ll need to go back to bed when we get home.
- I like to go to sleep about 8pm and I sleep like a log all through the night till the morning without making a peep.
- If you go out, I will happily sleep in a comfy bed till you return.
I love birds, but not in a good way, so it would be best if I was in a home with no birds. Small pocket pets are probably not a good idea either.
I’m not suited to a home with little kids because even though I like them, when I’m excited I wag my tail really hard and it’s very whippy and can hurt a lot even though I don’t mean it. I’m fine with bigger kids.
I’m a pretty quiet boy but I will tell you if someone comes to the house. I am completely house trained, and I don’t chew furniture, although I do need some chew toys to keep me occupied if you’re out. I’m not much of a jumper - onto the bed is my limit so I don’t need super high fences.
Medical notes
Dragon is currently on a slow-kill heartworm eradication program that involves fortnightly medication. All medication and medical costs related to his heartworm eradication are covered by Precious Paws.
