About Daisy
Sassy queen!
We are expecting a lot of enquiries for this sweet girl. Please read her profile carefully and only enquire if you can meet her specific needs :)
Daisy is a beautiful, loving, and active lap dog. She loves to follow you around and also have her own time. She loves to play, run around at the park with other dogs, and head out for a long walk.
Daisy will does get vocal when she is feeling energetic and is ready for some crazy play time. She has her energetic spurts and is then ready to chill for a bit. She will sleep right up next to you and also loves to crawl under the doona.
This little girl is a sweet, loving and kind girl who loves other dog's company. Daisy came to us from a home with many other dogs and she will not cope without the company of a desexed, MALE doggy companion. This is what she is used to and being in a home without a canine friend will not be a happy option for her.
For this reason, we will not consider a home where she will be an only dog. She is good with children but probably better with older children who won’t grab at her or scare her. She is also happy to share her home with cats.
She just loves all company!
She likes to sleep, cuddle and play/jump all over her canine companion so her new doggy friend will need to be willing to wrestle and prepared to be tackled and lied on :)
She will be best suited to a home with a dog of similar age. She will become annoying to a senior pooch.
While she has been in care, Daisy's foster mum has noticed that she can get scared at night when asleep and awoken, and does growl but fine once the light is turned on. These incidents are becoming less common as she feels more secure. We are expecting that these stresses will escalate again after she moves to her new home so she will require a family to a willing to offer her the time, patience and comfort she requires while she is settling in and becoming comfortable in her new surroundings.
She is getting much better at toilet training but still needs some gentle reminders, will also need puppy school training. Great with cats too! She just loves all company!
Daisy can be quite sensitive and will need to time to settle into her new home and to gain trust in her new people before they expect too much from her. Once she is comfortable and knows she is safe, she will then enjoy her walks, outings and adventures with her new people and her doggy friend who is willing to take her under their wing when she is unsure.
Daisy has a very fine coat. She will need to be an indoor dog to keep her warm in these colder months. A jacket will be a must!
She will also require some grooming and regular brushing to control her extremely fine 'scrappy' hair.
We look forward to hearing from you if you have the perfect home for this sweet, sensitive young lady.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
