About Licorice
*In foster care in Bardwell Park, Sydney*
Licorice is a cheeky young boy who CRAVES attention! He just can't get enough loving, and will purr with delight while you carry him around like a baby :)
During the day Licorice enjoys exploring and playing, and posing in funny positions to get a laugh! At night he likes to burrow under the bedcovers to get nice and cosy beside you.
With his curious and outgoing purrsonality, Licorice is likely to do well in a home with kids aged 10+ and friendly dogs and/or cats of all ages!
Like all Maggie's pets, Licorice is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have lots of affection to give me, as my humans' love is really all I care about! I might take a short while to settle in to my new environment, so a bit of patience and understanding while I get used to all the new sights and smells would be awesome too :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty high! When I'm in an energetic mood I like to tear around the house, climbing and jumping and chasing my sister Nutmeg from pillar to post... but soon enough I'm ready to catch some zzz's on my foster mum's lap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I'd get along great with small humans! Kids aged 10+ would probably be the best match as I'm still learning how to play nicely, and loud noises and sudden movements can sometimes make me nervous.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love my kitty siblings and should fit right into a home with another friendly cat or two! My canine foster sister totally fascinates me - she's a medium sized dog who would prefer I worshipped from a respectful distance, but I love to cuddle right up to her!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
