About Nutmeg
*In foster care in Bardwell Park, Sydney*
A big ol' cuddler by nature, Nutmeg can't wait to adore you! Sometimes a little shy around new people, she'll soon be sticking to you like glue as you relax on the couch or putter around the house.
Nutmeg's favourite things include neck scratches, tummy rubs, and being your own purrsonal hot water bottle in bed through the cold winter nights :) A real-life Puss in Boots, her big eyes are always peeled for her special humans, yummy food, or a fun toy to toss around!
Like all Maggie's pets, Nutmeg is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll be best suited to a calm household with older people who'll be lovely and patient while I settle in, as I can be a bit shy at first. It would be amazing if you work from home or are retired, because I love human company so much - especially when there's lots of pats involved! (If you're coming up a bit short I like to sit on your keyboard until you pay the snuggle toll!)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I definitely have my playful moments, but I'm really quite the sloth at heart. A nice spot in the sun, maybe with a window view, and my human nearby... ah, that's heaven to me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A home with adults only will be best for me - or maybe a family with cat-loving older teenagers who will understand my initial shyness and help me to feel comfortable by giving me lots of space.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love snuggling with my siblings, so I think I'd enjoy a nice cat friend in my new home! There's a dog in my foster home right now, and although we only really watch each other rather than interact she seems pretty cool :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
