Nala

Nala is a lovely girl.

She first came to SAFE Newman as an 8 week old puppy alongside her siblings and was rehomed to a family.
Unfortunately she made her way back to our care a few months later due to no fault of her own and now again awaits her happily ever after.

There's nothing she loves more than being close to and cuddling up to her humans. Nala absolutely loves people and she is great with kids. She is in the process of learning basic commands and would benefit from someone who has a lot of patience and time to train her, walk her, and spend time with her.

Nala is now house trained, but is super jumpy, excitable, and very playful so is needing the right home who will continue her training. She doesn't get along with other dogs too well - however, we do suspect this to be because she
mightn't of had much socialisation in the past, so with further training and attention we are confident she will grow.

She is a quirky girl who isn't much of a barker - she's not bothered by any other dogs barking nearby, but when there's a bit of barking on the TV, she goes nuts! Nala also barks like mad when she sees or hears a cat, though we haven't had a chance to introduce her to one yet, her previous home has mentioned she shared her family with a feline.

Nala will eat anything and everything, so she will need some tough, durable toys to play with (a plastic bottle tucked away in an old sock and a trusty ball would have to be two of her faves!) also still being very much a puppy and learning. Nala also loves fetch and tug of war with her rope toys.

She loves super long walks with quite a bit of running and she needs it otherwise she won't get a whole lot of snooze time! She is super food motivated, so treat training is great for her and being a Kelpie X is needing a family willing to put the time and effort into her training and daily exercise.

Overall, Nala is a beautiful, energetic, affectionate, and loveable girl so deserving of a home of her own.
