About Eden
Hello, my name is “Eden” and I know my name well!! I am a bit shy at first but warm up quickly. I am a bit worried about those really small, noisy humans but I’m fine with them when they get a bit older and quieten down. I am a bit bossy with my doggy foster brother and sister, I think I have them bluffed that I’m top dog even though I’m a lot smaller than them hehe. I am ok with cats; we have two of them in my foster home. One is old and friendly, and I do get a bit carried away playing with him but I wouldn’t dare with my cat sister as she spits at me, so I stay clear of her.
I am clever just like all my siblings and my foster family have taught me to sit, walk on lead, wait for food, sleep in my crate, and I’m doing great with toilet training. My foster mum and foster doggy siblings taught me the word toilet as we all run out together when she says the word toilet (its actually fun). I love my toys, but the best thing is a dirty stick brought in from outside so my foster mum has to pick up wood before she does the vacuum.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICKALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a very large size yard.
• Eden will not be alone more than 5hrs.
• You will allow Eden to be part of the family and allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with her breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Eden including FULL details on mental and physical stimulation you intend to provide will be considered. You will also need to include details on the obedience club you will be attending and what knowledge you have on her breeds. PLEASE NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will not process your application, nor will you receive any further communications.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
