Joey ~ 3yr Old BC x(Rev apps 29/6/21)

This is Joey, he will be turning 3 years old next month. This handsome boy is a Kelpie X Border Collie X who loves adventures and getting out and about.

He is an attention loving, cuddly ball of energy who will play fetch for hours on end. I am yet to see anyone outlast him in a game. If he drops the ball too far away just say "can I reach that?" and he will be sure to pick it up and leave it directly at your feet before eagerly bouncing back and waiting for the next throw.

Joey absolutely loooooves car rides, even if it's just down the road to grab a coffee. Any time in the car is exciting for him. He also loves going for a walk to the local Cafe, where the first thing he does is go up to the window to say hello to the staff. He then stops at the butchers on his way home to pick up his bone.

Joey is very switched on when it comes to emotions. Any time his 9 year old human is upset or crying, he is the first to run up to her and nudge his head up under her arm for a cuddle. She also calls him in to sleep with her when she has a nightmare. He will lay there until she falls asleep and then return to his bed (or the lounge if he is feeling cheeky).

Unfortunately he recently had an accidental head collision with his 9 year old which resulted in a tooth puncturing her forehead and what looked like quite a lot of blood and her brother is now scared to have him at home as he doesn't realise this was a freak accident. It is for this reason that the heartbreaking decision was made to find him a new home.

Joey is good with cats. The family cat is boss and Joey learnt this on the first day at home.
Joey doesn't share food well with other animals so gets fed on his own.

Joey's adoption fee is $500 and includes desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she has been treated for fleas and worms.
