ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: INDOORS ONLY -- NO CHILDREN -- OTHER CATS CONSIDERED

Percy is an adorable little ginger floof who came into the shelter simply terrified of humans. While he finds new people and situations to be very scary, once he is given a safe warm hideaway place and allowed to adjust and feel safe at his own pace, he soon transforms into a happy little playful scallywag! Percy just LOVES food and is super motivated to face his fears and explore his space if there is food involved! He will allow his trusted person to give him pats, ear rubs and bum scratches, especially if food is involved, and is happy to sit nearby, but please note being picked up or cuddled is just not his thing right now. Percy loves to explore and play but will need to be an indoor cat as he will find the outdoors and its edible dangers too irresistible. Percy likes other cats (dogs not so much) and would love a furry playmate after slow, careful introductions. As Percy finds noise very terrifying he will need a quiet, indoor home with adult persons, no children.
