Olive

Olive is a beautiful young pup with so much life ahead of her!
She is learning very quickly how to be the best pupper for her new forever home! Olive is cat and dog friendly! She is a big cuddle bug and loves to be with you any chance she can get! Olive is tall and lanky, at only 21kg she hopes one day she will grow into her long legs! She will try and sneak up on the couch for cuddles even though she knows she isn’t allowed, she is a total love bug with her humans and despite her athlete appearance, she would much rather sleep!
She is currently learning the commands, sit, drop, wait (for food), doorway manners and is practicing her loose lead walking and recall.
She is very playful and enjoys playing with her regular friends, Olive does get anxious when introduced to new dogs bigger than her and are showing strong, dominant body language so she thinks that she needs to defend herself.
Dog parks are a no go for Olive at least until she gains more confidence as there are far too many other dogs around for her to handle.
Olive is great in the car as long as there is a comfy blanket to curl up on! When Olive first came into care she was so excited to have a bed of her very own that she didn’t want to share and would tell off the other dogs, but She is learning that she will always have a soft place to sleep and doesn’t need to keep it all to herself.
Olive is good with crate training and sleeps in one every night. This really helps with her toilet training so that she doesn’t have any accidents while her foster parents are sleeping!
