- Violet is a lady and loves to be treated like a Princess.
- Violet's favourite spot is curled up next to the fireplace.
- Violet expects food in her bowl at all times and she will remind you if you forget!
- Violet is excellent with dogs and will show them their place if necessary.
- She is currently living with two male cats and gets along with them well although she is the boss.
- Violet is excellent company, often sitting close-by while her foster carer is working on the computer or reading.
- Violet is not really a lap cat, although she loves a good smooch, head scratch and a chat, she is an independent lady and is content to go about her business and check in with everyone throughout the day, especially if her food bowl is empty!

The adoption fee of $250 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccination and vet check. 

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a meet and greet.

SAFE requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices.  As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together.  Information on cat enclosures can be found here:  https://safe.org.au/catios 

SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
