About Onyx 🧶
I’ll be your snuggle buddy, your very own purr machine and never will you spend a day feeling lonely again....
My foster mum has called me Onyx, and I have a brother named Jett (adopted)...I’m what they call a DMH (Domestic Medium Hair) and just 14wks old. Please note, I’m still very much a baby!
I don’t think I’m a crazy, high maintenance kitten.....I do love climbing, playing chase through tunnels, rumbling with my brother and seeking attention from my people, but I can also be quite chilled and settle into new environments quite quickly.
My brother and I get along really well, and we love to hang out together, but also get along well with the resident cats in our foster home. I’m a little less outgoing than Jett but really love head rubs and pats, so will be looking forward to plenty of those in my forever home 😉
I have a beautiful soft coat which will need to be kept maintained with regular brushing and do enjoy using a scratch post in my foster home, so it’s probably a good idea to provide me one of those 😉 I’ve been an extremely good boy when it comes to using my litter tray too.
I love to snuggle with my humans at night time, so would love for this to continue in my new home. I have been exposed to children and cope quite well with them, as long as they are respectful and give me some space when needed.
It would be fun to have another feline companion in my forever home, so if you have another cat/kitten and looking for a mate for them, it would be worth your while to enquire...😻
Please understand that I have always been an inside only kitten and would prefer to stay that way....unless you have a secure outdoor enclosure (not just a yard, as I could scale fencing once I’m bigger).
I’m now all ready to head off to my forever home, so please send through an enquiry if you think I’d be a perfect match for your home 💕

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
