About:
Bombur is the perfect kitten. He is fun, he is cuddly, he is beautiful. And look at that FACE! He is affectionately called a potato, and we can’t help but call him that on occasions.
Our favourite thing is when he runs.
Total. Potato. On. Legs.
Or like, a catrabbit.
A potato catrabbit hybrid.
When we open the door to the kitten room in the mornings, Bombur is purring away before we even reach him. He purrs in advance because he knows love is coming. And when we pick him up for a cuddle snuggle, that purr is such a beautiful comfort against our chests.
He's the cure for any bad day.
Bombur is loving and playful, loves a good wrestle with his foster sister, loves playing with his toys, in tunnels, and in the cardboard cat castle. He sleeps on a soft cosy pillow in a cave on the cat tower, snuggled around (and sometimes over) his sister.
He loves his food. Like, a lot. When we feed him, he can't stand the horrific waiting times, the millions of hours (32 seconds) it takes for us to clean his bowl before we put the food in, so he climbs our legs and up our backs and stands on our shoulders to supervise, probably hoping that his apparent urgency speeds us along.
One of our other favourite adorable little Bomburisms, is that when he's sitting still, just staring, he looks mildly sad. It just makes you want to smooch him on his tiny little head.
He's got resting sad face.
Even though Bombur is social, and playful and snuggly, he can be timid at times, he can get overwhelmed by bigger, louder, sudden things. He handles it well, he just quietly gets subdued and retreats to a safe space until he becomes more familiar. But that timidity in his instinctive nature makes us think Bombur would love a quiet home, with either no dogs or only very small, gentle ones. He'd love another cat, though, to play and snuggle with every day.
Anybody who gets to provide Bombur with his forever home is a very, very lucky anybody.
