On Hold
Doug is a VERY LARGE wonderful, playful dog. He has tried to start a game with every dog he has met by greeting them with a play bow with his long tail wagging in the air!
He has a lovely, friendly nature. If you turn around, he will more than likely be right behind you. Having said that, he is a very chilled boy. He's quite happy to loll about, but if there is something happening, he will take an interest in what's going on.
He will sit on command, has good recall and takes food gently from your hand. He is learning to walk on a lead and is improving with practice.
He likes to chase and play, so is not suited to a home with cats, free-ranging small pets or dogs that would be intimidated by his size and energy.
Given he is a large boy (54kg) and is bouncy, he is NOT suited to a home with very young children or someone who is frail.
He is available to an experienced home who will continue his training.
He is in care in western Sydney.
