Hi my name is Larza but my humans think I'm goofy.

I am looking for humans to adopt me who will love me as much as my foster carers do. I have a lot of love to give! I love snuggles- so much so that if my humans let me, I’ll try to crawl onto their laps like I’m still a wee little pup.

I’ve got long limbs which I’m not always sure how to use, hence why they call me Goofy! I can be very playful, especially when my humans come home from work, when I meet new humans or when I see another dog. I get so excited that I leap up and down like a prancing dear. I have learnt not to jump on my foster carers as much anymore, but I can’t contain my excitement when I see other humans or dogs.

With more training, I will learn, I have learnt so much already in just two weeks. I like to be walked but again, I am super excited so tend to pull on my lead. I don’t currently share a home with another dog, because of my playful nature I’m not sure how another dog would react until I learn how to use my limbs, unless they like a pouncing pup, same goes for cats.

I am driven by food, it can help distract me from anything. I don’t bark very often, usually only when I’m scared like when I see my own reflection. I am such a good boy when I’m left at home while my humans go to work. It took me a while to stay in the backyard, scared my humans would never let me back in, but once I knew I had shelter and the freedom to do both I’ll happily play on my own or will chill on my bed.

While the humans are gone I will find as many toys and sticks as I can and will bring them to the back door ready for when they get home to play. I am happy with a lot of down time, but love to be played with each day either in the backyard (where I run laps around my humans, thinking we’re playing chasey) or taken on a walk. I am best suited to a home with a backyard. My humans put me in the laundry, where I have access to outside, when they eat and I’ve never kicked up a fuss. But I do prefer to be around them when they’re home as I like a lot of attention and affection.
