About Maggie
*In foster care in Kogarah, Sydney*
With her gentle and affectionate ways, Maggie would make an amazing addition to virtually any kind of cat-loving household!
This darling girl loves nothing more than cuddling up on your lap and purring the hours away. She'll be wonderful company, sleeping right up close at night, and pretending to explore during the day while secretly following you from room to room :)
Maggie is extremely sociable and totally comfortable around everybody, friends and strangers alike! She's content to be picked up, cuddled and played with, never scratches or bites, and will be a delightful welcoming party of one every evening when you arrive home <3
Like all Maggie's pets, Maggie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm pretty easygoing, on the whole! I don't mind if you leave me on my own during the day, but I ADORE morning and evening cuddles. And if you are able to spend the day at home with me – yippee! We'll hang out in the same room all day and I might even get to snooze on someone's lap…
I don't have much interest in going outside, and unknown noises can be scary, but I'd love a home with a daylong sunny spot for snoozing in, and a few good hiding spots. Though I love pats and affection, I'm not super-demanding and will even DIY if my human's hand is close by!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: When I'm not cuddling with you, you'll find me dozing in the sunlight, curled up inside a leftover box, or napping on a comfy cushion. I'm not a big fan of toys, but you might catch me in a playful, pouncing mood sometimes :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids since coming into foster care, but I used to live with a family with children. Because I'm so calm by nature, my foster carer expects that I'd be quite happy in a family home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Hard to say, as I haven't met any other pets since coming into foster care.
Medical notes
Maggie's right upper carnassial has moderate, level 2 tartar and her overall tartar level is level 1. Our vet has noted that future owners should be made aware that Maggie will require a dental clean in the future, and will need to be fed a dental diet. The vets suggestion is Hills T/D ideally, and then Greenies for dental treats.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
