About Arthur
Arthur is looking for a special forever home in Melbourne. He is a 5.5 year old British Bulldog who is very easy going, gets along well with other dogs and his absolute favourite thing is dinner time (he does a little happy dance).
Arthur let us know his adoption wishlist:
~ a canine companion with a similar temperament ... easy going, loves a little play (bulldog style with chesting), but also someone to also just hang out with, doesn't like confrontation
~ dog door so he can let himself out and come back in as he desires
~ house that doesn't have oodles of stairs
~ yard that gets some nice winter sun where Arthur can bask
~ humans who are around more often than not - he loves being with you and will follow you around
Arthur's dislikes are whipper snippers and getting his nails trimmed.
Arthur is untested with cats.
Arthur isn't fostered with kids, he met some recently and apart from being a little excited at first was great with them.
if you would like to love Arthur forever please get in contact
Medical notes
Arthur has had specialist surgery for a spinal cyst. His recovery is going well and the next stage will be hydrotherapy to build strength. More information on this and his future care requirements can be discussed in detail with suitable applicants.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
