🧱⚡️ MEET REBEL AND LEGO! ⚡️🧱
Hello there, I’m Rebel and this is my brother, Lego. We are bonded brothers searching for our furever home. We started our lives together in an outside cat run, so as you can imagine, indoor living has been a bit of an adjustment! But fear not, we love all the creature comforts; we've discovered this thing called a bed, and we gotta say… it's pretty pawsome. Not to mention the food! Mmm mm mmmm!
Nature
While we can both be shy and unsure of ourselves, we're becoming more and more confident each day. I am the more outgoing out of the two of us and I enjoy exploring, while Lego usually hides away until he feels comfortable enough to come out of his hidey-hole. Although, recently we have started becoming a lot more active and interested in playing, we think it’s pretty fun.
We completely transform when it's mealtime though; when we know breakfast or dinner is on its way, we will circle around you like a couple of sharks waiting for our meal, purring like crazy and rubbing up on your legs! When our foster mum wakes up and says good morning, we both run over to her for lots of scritches and cuddles so there's no doubt we'll continue to flourish in our furever home!
Our Foster Mum thinks our bond is beautiful. We happily eat next to each other, although Lego can get a little greedy and try and steal my food. Lego draws a lot of comfort and confidence from me, and we share lots of head bumps and we love a bit of playtime together.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We have lived with other cats before, so would likely suit a home with some feline friends. We came from a foster home with children, so we'd be okay in a home with children who are respectful of our boundaries.
We have met dogs before through a door, we don't know what to make of them, so we'd have to be introduced very slowly to a cat-savvy pooch to make sure we all get along nicely.
Likes / Dislikes
We both have excellent toileting manners and use our litter trays. We're not very fussy with food, it's all yummy to us! We both like our personal space and won't hesitate to give you a gentle tap with our paw (no claws, we promise!) if we don't like how you're patting us. I know we can be a bit particular times, but we promise we are both two loving boys with big purrrrring hearts. I will literally try and grab you to keep the cuddles coming and am becoming a bit of a lap cat. Pssst… Lego also has a thing for the pats, he will purrrr louder than me, but don’t tell him I told you!
Our PURR-fect home would be a quiet household with humans who will give us the time, love and space to come out of our shells, pawlease.
If you would like to apply to adopt Rebel and Lego come and meet them at City Farmers Rockingham adoption event this Saturday from 10am to 2pm. They will be ready to go with the first suitable family.
