About Penny
Penny is a 4 year old Kelpie x and is the sweetest girl you'll meet, with a giant heart and lots of love to shower you with. She just loves to be part of your life in every way possible and loves nothing more than to be by your side, whether you are working in the garden or relaxing on the couch. She's adapted well to spending time indoors, mastering toilet training quickly, but may need a gentle reminder in a new setting as she is a sensitive soul and just wants to please you.
Companionship is everything to her, so she will need a male, desexed doggy sibling - size does not matter. She has started to play with her foster fur brother, so would love a playful companion, however, is also content curling up and sunbanking with a less playful doggy. She will need a home with a good size yard with high, secure fencing.
Regular walks, outings and exercise will be needed to keep her fit and mentally stimulated.
Penny is an exception with young children and matches her excitement to their smaller size. When meeting new adults, she loves to show you how excited she is, but always listens to her owners commands.
She does however have a fear of being apart from her family, so it's important her new family understand this and help her settle in, a home where her people are around majority of the time will be the best match for Penny.
Not tested with cats or other animals.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
