On Hold
Shelley is a sweet affectionate girl looking for a calm mature household. Breed experience is highly recommended. Shelley can be anxious in new environments so is looking for a family who will help her settle at her own pace. She must be allowed indoors and included in the family. Shelley enjoys being around her people and is suited to a home where her owner is home more often than not (works part time, can take her to work with them etc). Must be left indoors when on her own and left with enrichment - long lasting chews, toys etc to keep her occupied. Feeding her meals from food based enrichment such as milk bottles, kongs, wobblers and snuffle mats, will also keep her busy and provide mental stimulation. Her new owners should continue her training, working on basic cues such as sit, wait, down. Shelley can be reactive when seeing other dogs out walking, so working on the 'find it' game and 'look at me' to help gain her focus is highly recommended. Walk at quiet times of the day and in quiet areas. Shelley will need to be our only canine family member.
