About Winnie
Winnie and her 2 siblings, Willow and Wesley, were found abandoned at 3 weeks old and were surrendered into DCH foster care. Winnie was then initially adopted in October 2020.
Fast forward to May 2021, and Winnie came back into DCH care after she was found wandering outside by herself in Cobbitty. Her coat was matted and she was very hungry but she was still the beautiful, affectionate girl that I remembered bottle feeding 8 months ago!
(Winnie's original adopter was contacted but due to unfortunate circumstances, they cannot take Winnie back.)
Winnie has become a gorgeous, medium haired tabby, with a super soft coat and a magnificent fluffy tail. She is very affectionate and would make a great lap cat as she really loves attention and cuddles. Winnie will be a wonderful companion for anyone who has loads of love to give.
Winnie must be kept as an Indoor Only cat and she needs a stable and secure home. Anyone who applies to adopt Winnie must be genuine as this gentle girl really deserves to find her Forever Family this time, so please include your details when you enquire.
If you are looking to welcome a cuddly young cat into your life, come and meet Winnie!
Winnie is microchipped, wormed and desexed. She is due for her yearly vaccination on 16 October 2021, and she is litter-trained.
You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
