About Pearl & Ruby
PLEASE NOTE:
To ensure full compliance with the NSW Health Orders ONLY LOCAL ADOPTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Pearl & Ruby are bonded sisters that have never been apart. For that reason they are being rehomed as a bonded pair. They were understandably shy and wary of people to start with, however quickly their beautiful, loving personalities shone through. They love their food and enjoy laying in the sun up high, watching the world go by from the safety of the indoors. The girls love a chin scratch and have shown more than a bit of interest in Netflix..... wildlife shows are one of their favourites ;)
The adoption fee for both cats is $300.
My Ideal Home:
As with all our foster cats, Pearl & Ruby are rehomed as 100% indoor only kitties, not only for their safety but for that of our native wildlife. They would make the most wonderful companions for a retired or working couple/person as they have each other to keep company when you're out or at work. Their previous owner had them desexed, as is evident by the tattoo's in their ears and now they've had their booster vaccination and microchip done they're ready to move in! If you can offer them a quiet, loving home together please consider adoption this ready made family!
What is Known About My Background:
Pearl & Ruby were surrendered to a rural pound after their owner was no longer able to keep them. The girls were understandably shell shocked at finding themselves in the pound and clung to each other for comfort and support. They're hoping they'll never have to go through that ordeal again!
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Pearl & Ruby have never lived with any other animals and get startled at loud noises and fast movements. They weren't a fan of the resident Staffy, however a quiet dog that leaves them alone may be ok, with a slow, monitored introduction. They haven't been tested with other cats and children as we didn't want to stress them out further. Ideally a home where they are the only pets is strongly recommended - the last thing we want is for these beautiful girls to find themselves looking for another home in their short lives.
