About Ebony
Ebony is a beautiful mixed breed dog, with lots of love to give her people. She is a lanky girl, weighing about 26kg and has the most precious puppy dog eyes!
Ebony will take any opportunity to spend time on the couch or bed and loves a snuggle. She's also a leaner but knows that jumping up is naughty. She will happily potter around the garden with you and snuggle up at night while you watch TV. Ebony loves the car and is her best self snoozing in the back seat. Ebony is a great sleeper and will sleep on her mat throughout the night inside. She rarely barks. She is ok to be left for long hours throughout the day and is not destructive in any way. She is used to being an indoor dog, is house trained and currently being crate trained. Equally, she is very happy outside and shows no separation anxiety behaviours when left alone. Her energy levels are low and she doesn't need a great deal of exercise.
Ebony is a clever dog who loves to work with her people and build a bond through training/obedience. She will sit when asked and will not move until her release word "free". She also knows bed/mat. Ebony has learned to loose lead walk on the left but needs a bit more practice with this to be pawfect.
Ebony is not dog/animal social so needs a home where she won't be exposed to other animals. Her arousal levels need to be kept low as she gets overexcited when out and about.
We are looking for a quiet rural home without other pets or visiting wildlife that can be chased. If you are a single or couple who want a companion around the property and the feeling of security a dog brings, Ebony is your girl! A home with space to run around and sniff would be great as she loves to follow her nose or play with a ball. While she doesn't need high fencing (4ft farm fencing is fine) she does need a secure yard for when you're not home (or to be kept inside). If there are any times where gates are open on the premises she can be tethered on a long line and not complain at all.
Ebony is such a good girl and just wants someone to love and spend time with.
Medical notes
Ebony recently had a mast cell tumour and a benign lump removed from her stomach. She made a full recovery and has no ongoing issues.
