About Dante **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**

Hi, I have two cats, one an 8 year old black domestic short hair, de-sexed male who had been abandoned at a caravan park 14 kilometres from where I live. He spent 4 months living wild and arrived at my place with a bullet wound in his shoulder, now fully healed. He arrived at my place one evening, ate three servings of cat food that I had left out for some local "feral s", then came inside, jumped up onto a lounge chair and slept for 24 hours ignoring me! He has been with me now for 2 years and gets very concerned when I go out anywhere and very affectionate when I come back.
The second cat is a 13 year old domestic medium haired Russian Blue male, also de-sexed, I have had him for 12 years. I got him as a kitten when a "house mate" who was working at a vets brought home 2 kittens whose siblings and mother had been killed by a bunch of teenagers!! In spite of this trauma He became quite affectionate and loves being brushed, except for his tummy, so there is a couple of Matts down there.
Health wise both of them are good apart from the matts on the Russian Blues tummy.
The reason I am trying to find them a new home is that I am dying of cancer. My time is rapidly running out and I wish to find them a loving caring home to repay them for all the love, affection and enjoyment they have given me over the years. I have no family left and my neighbours ain't in a position to help so I hope you can help me achieve this important aim.
