Flint

Flint is a 2 year old male purebred black and tan kelpie who has an absolute heart of gold.

He has settled into his foster home without drama and his foster parents have loved having him enter their lives. He is housed with a number of other dogs of various sizes and adores the company of each and every one of them. We are therefore looking to rehome him with another dog. Also on the property are cats, birds and horses all of which he has been respectful towards.

He has been working on his training and has attended some classes, given how social he is, he tends to let his concentration wander and becomes interested in what his four legged friends are doing next door. But being a kelpie he is extremely smart and learns new concepts quickly.

Flint’s foster parents have crate trained him, which he loves and we would like to see continued in his new home. He wasn’t toilet trained when he arrived in care but with consistent training this has improved dramatically over the past couple of weeks since coming to us.

We are hoping to find a home where his owner will be home more often than not, where he will have 6 ft colourbond fence or alternatively a roofed yard for when his owners are out. Flint is quite adept at escaping wire fencing that does not have a roof which is why he came to rescue. Since being in care he has never attempted to escape as he has space and friends to keep him company.

This beautiful boy has looks, manners and personality to spare and will make one lucky family the perfect new addition.

Flint is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and his adoption fee is $500.
