About Starman
Starman is a black 4 /5month old Labrador x kelpie,, with a beautiful nature
For such a young pup he is very chilled and affectionate and easily trained. He walks well on a lead and is quiet in the car , housetraining is a work in progress . He currently weighs 17 kilos
Starman has good recall and is happy to watch the world go by. He is in foster care with a bigger older female pup and they play nicely. There are also cats and chickens near him and he is not interested in them at all. Both pups are sleeping inside at night in the warm but are outside in the day
He has had a Vet check up and a vaccination and has been wormed and flea treated . He is too young to be desexed yet so needs to be returned to one of our vets for that to be done in a few months , the desexing is included in the adoption fee. Starman came into care with a slight skin issue which is now cleared up and the hair on his head is growing back with daily application of cream
Starman would make a great family dog and would get along with any other dog or even a cat already in the family . Children of most ages would find him playful but not too boisterous except maybe toddlers who may get knocked over as he is quite the bum wriggler . If there is no other dog in the family then there needs to be someone home most of the time .
Some on going training or puppy school would also be recommended

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
