About Nigel
Adoption Fee: $300
Meet lovable Nigel. When Nigel gets to know you he will be your best friend. He is the sweetest little boy. He will be a bit shy at first but he will soon start to realise just how nice it is to be loved by a human and reward you in the best way.
Nigel gets on well with all the cats in his foster home especially his little foster brother. He has not been tried with dogs. A home with older children would probably suit him best as he hasn't been around kids yet.
If you think Nigel looks like your sort of best buddy, please apply via the SAFE Bunbury enquiry form on our website.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*Kittens will require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form as follows:
* From the PetRescue website please click on this link: https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service?account=sb1266&method=online_form_html&formid=8&fbclid=IwAR21zLhF1Ed-geqThIredl4zrT0bpSPDnffWaNZNDKovS-LhI6Mo0df-Hls
* On the SAFE website simply click on 'Apply to Adopt'.
You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
As this kitten is under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
Caryn Vet Hospital, Edgewater
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital, Kingsley
Ocean Keys Vet, Clarkson
South Metropolitan TAFE Vet Clinic, Bentley (during semester)
Swan Veterinary Hospital, Midvale
Albany Vet Hospital, Albany
Swans Vet Service, Esperance
Please ask us for more information on arranging sterilisation of your pet if you live outside the Bunbury area.
