Pepe ~ 3yr Old Shih Tzu X(On Trial 21/6/21)

Pepe is a 3yr Old male Shih Tzu X. He is on the larger scale of being a small sized poochie, all the more to love! Pepe is a very affectionate, happy boy with an outgoing nature. He is an absolute gentleman and will bring a friendly and lively nature to your home

Pepe has recently come into care with a few extra kilos which his foster mum is now working on for his summer bod to come just in time! His diet is currently being managed with special dry food and lean meats which he loves. His exercise has been slowly increasing and he now enjoys two walks per day at a brisk pace set by him.

His vet check revealed he has no health issues other than the desired weight loss he needs to achieve, which is a total of about 4kg to get him to his ideal weight, which as advised would be 2kg in the first year then another 2kg after that. Pepe's new family must be prepared to continue with this plan to ensure he can live a long and happy life. He has already lost weight and changed shape in the last couple of weeks that ge has been in care.

Pepe is an indoors dog who loves attention and is very devoted to his family. He is happy to meet new people and loves any dog who approaches him in our home or in the park. He loves his stuffed toys and will play tug a war with our dog happily. He is very suited to share his new home with another dog. For this reason, Pepe must be rehomed to a family who will allow Pepe indoors to= bond and cuddle in with his family.

Although Pepe is not officially housetrained, he has been doing amazingly well with his foster mum and spent many days inside without much issue. Being a smart little man he wont take long to housetrain. He is a great car traveller but must be lifted in and out to avoid injury to him.

Pepe is available for adoption and is currently living in the Newcastle Region NSW. Pepe’s adoption fee is $600. He is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He has also been treated for fleas and worms.
