About Ivy ~ Blue Heeler Puppy(19/6/21)
Meet the gorgeous Ivy. Ivy is a 14week old Blue Heeler puppy, looking for her pawfect forever home.
Ivy is a very smart little girl who is learning everything very quickly. She loves a cuddle and makes a great replacement for a hot water bottle on a cold night. Ivy adores cuddling in with her foster family and making the most of bonding time. She is a smart little cookie and has already learnt to use the doggy door, although still in training, and mostly avoids those little accidents.
Ivy is learning very quickly the little runs of the house. She sits for her food (the waiting part is just sooooo hard) so will need a little more fine tuning, but knows her name and is working on her recall skills as best she can.
Ivy would be best suited to an active couple, single or family who can commit to furthering her training and spending quality time with her. She will be an active medium sized dog, and will require daily exercise to ensure her happy healthy way of life continues.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training to ensure proper boundaries and routines are established. This will ensure that you get the best family member/friend possible.
Ivy would love a new sister or brother to go home with. Ivy’s foster sister has been showing her how fun playing ball is and how nice it is to snuggle up together after some serious puppy wrestling. For this reason, families or homes without another older dog for company will not be considered at this time.
Ivy needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog but will not be suitable for children under 10 years of age. She will need good fencing with no small gaps. NO Rural fencing will not be considered.
As Ivy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
