About Shimmy
6yo Shimmy is a talkative, interactive and super affectionate lady in urgent need of rehoming.
Her bio reads:
”Shimmy is a very pretty, playful girl who will talk to you often.
She knows close people by name but is super shy with strangers. She needs daytime access to the outdoors (cat flap anyone?!) and loves to go in and out frequently or will ask to have a door opened for her.
A calm home where she can decide where she wants to be - without kids, or tw/eens+ who will respect when she doesn’t want to be picked up, she can swipe suddenly when she’s had enough.
She prefers not to be picked up but is DEFINITELY a lap cat and will soak up constant stroking and remind you with little nudges if one of your hands stops moving.
She has a routine she loves – that’s coming to lie on your chest whilst still in bed in the morning (and whilst kids are reading in bed at night) to lap up pats and affections. She really blisses out. She has so much to give and deserves a good home!
A high energy cat who needs plenty of play with her humans.
Probably ok with a small dog who won't chase. Unknown with other cats.”
** Please note Cat Adoption Foundation does not promote kitties going outside without containment for their own safety as well as community and wildlife issues. A cat run, outdoor enclosure or harness and leash training are good containment methods.
